Job description

  • In close collaboration with the Marketing Manager, you prepare the marketing strategic plan to achieve the annual goals in terms of e-commerce / lead growth / brand awareness /… (via seo, content marketing, online -and offline campaigns, email marketing, etc…)
  • In close collaboration with the Marketing Manager, you prepare the annual marketing budget plan & allocation across channels, you manage the marketing budget on a monthly basis and secure the budget remains within the agreed range
  • You analyse data (from Google Analytics, sales data, …) and propose and take actions to optimise the marketing acquisition channels, website (conversions) and sales retention
  • You generate qualified traffic from different channels (paid search, SEO, paid -and organic social, newsletters, affiliates, programmatic advertising) to achieve brand -lead -and e-commerce objectives
  • You lower the dependency of paid channels to generate qualified website traffic and (sales) conversions by increasing organic / SEO visibility and traffic
  • You manage and coordinate external partners (such as: performance marketing agency, PR agency, affiliates, …) in the implementation of (digital) marketing related projects where you sufficiently challenge all external business partners in order to meet goals and agreed targets
  • You manage and coordinate the marketing team
  • You propose recommendations for continuous website improvements that benefit the user experience and increase conversion rates. To achieve this you co-operate with the webmaster and usability expert
  • You follow up and report on trends within the industry, (new) digital marketing tactics and closely monitor competitors
  • Your most important KPIs:
    • Lead and e-commerce growth: meet annual e-commerce targets
    • Increase in brand awareness
    • Pro activity
    • Customer focus
  • You report to the Marketing Manager France / Germany

Your assets

  • Completed education or comparable education with a focus on digital marketing / e-commerce
  • Very good analytical (Google Analytics) and conceptual skills;
  • You have practical knowledge and experience in multiple domains (SEO, SEA, affiliate marketing, email marketing, conversion optimization);
  • You are strong result-oriented with a solution-oriented and proactive way of working;
  • You are driven and passionate about your work;
  • Being able to work in a team, but at the same time being able to work independently and have a high level of initiative;
  • Your CV already testifies to a first managerial experience. You guide your fellow marketeers and ensure that performance -and brand marketing work well;
  • You are creative in making our website known to a large audience;
  • Flexible, customer-oriented and stress-resistant are typical characteristics of your personality.

Language proficiency

  • German (mother tongue or very good knowledge, written and spoken)
  • English (good knowledge) or Dutch (good knowledge)

Work experience

  • You have at least 3 to 4 years of professional experience in digital marketing / e-commerce
  • You have already had the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and steer a team
